Thank you all for attending the parent meeting on Thursday. I hope all your questions were answered. I think it is going to be a wonderful year!
We talked about the kid's answers to the three questions:
What's your job for school, What is your parent's job, what is your teacher's job. This is a few of the answers from the board. The one on top answers "what is your parent's job?" The one on bottom answers "what is your job".
This is how they are posted on the board. Every year the answers get better!
There were sign ups for a few things. One item was a sign up for volunteers to send in light breakfast items for our big test days September 23(this Wednesday) and the other being the 30
th. If you did not sign up and want to send something please send a note in with your child. There was also a sign up for party planning and volunteering. If you are interested in that and missed the sign up let Mrs.
Demmer know.

Parent folders with more information. This also held the volunteer sheet for October. Stations is a great way to get involved in the classroom. They require just a few hours and the this year they are from 12:20-2:30 making them a perfect way to end your child's school week. You can sign up for all of them or maybe just one a month if possible. Parents are what make stations wonderful. I hope to see many of you volunteer if it is possible with your schedule.
